Excess Alcohol

The drink driving legislation is involved and complex and under no circumstance should you consider representing yourself without obtaining expert legal advice.  The many arguments invariably will be technical in nature and will have nothing to do with the fact that you were driving in excess of the prescribed limit.  The police are required to follow several statutory procedures which can be fatal to a prosecution if not pursued correctly.  Furthermore, even on a guilty plea there is enormous latitude in terms of the length of disqualification that a court can impose and it is therefore extremely important that the prosecution case is carefully considered before a plea is entered.
