Mobile Phone

The law changed in relation to the use of mobile phones in February 2007 and now the simple offence of using a mobile phone will result in a minimum of three penalty points and a financial penalty.  It maybe that the police decide to pursue a more serious allegation dependant on the quality of driving that arises whilst using a phone.  These more serious allegations also apply to using a hands-free mobile, so be aware, nobody is immune from a prosecution if your driving is adversely effected even by using a hands-free system.  Please call us for full clarification concerning the laws relating to use of mobile phones.
